Kersten Weber Tatarelis is the Enterprise Vice President of Clinical Pharmacy Operations for Advocate Health. Kersten has an extensive background as a clinician and operations leader in a variety of health system settings. In her current role, Kersten is responsible for enterprise clinical pharmacy services, including drug policy and formulary management through Enterprise Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, antimicrobial stewardship, transitions of care services, clinical data analytics and clinical practice advancement. Additionally, Kersten oversees enterprise virtual clinical pharmacy services whereby she directs innovative approaches to patient care delivery models to improve healthcare access. Kersten completed her Bachelor of Science degrees in both Biology and Psychology at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and Doctorate in Pharmacy at University of Illinois Chicago, where she also completed her residency training, as well as her Master of Business Administration with a focus on strategic management and leadership at Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois. In her free time, Kersten stays busy with her four young children, their sports and activities and enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
