Amanda Hansen is a distinguished pharmacy leader with nearly 20 years of experience in healthcare administration and clinical services. As Senior Director of Pharmacy at the Cleveland Clinic, she oversees enterprise-wide professional development, practice advocacy, and clinical research initiatives. Her leadership has been instrumental in expanding consult agreements, liaising with state legislatures and professional organizations, and supporting funding processes for pharmacist researchers.
Recognized as a Fellow of both the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FASHP) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), Amanda is highly engaged in professional organizations. She serves as Director-at-Large for the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders and her recent contributions to the ASHP Section of Pharmacy Practice Leaders also includes Chair of the Education Steering Committee and Chair of the Council on Pharmacy Practice. Amanda is Past President of OSHP.
Amanda holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and a Master of Science in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University and is an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) through the International Coaching Federation. As an Executive Coach, Amanda elevates client’s awareness of their unique attributes and partners to cultivate choice in their lives. Her experience, dedication, and leadership make her a respected figure in the field of pharmacy and a champion for the growth and evolution of those who serve in healthcare.
